'Wet Felting: A step by Step Introduction ' is a 32 page e-book in PDF format.

This step by step guide to wet felting has over 80 full colour photos. It is geared towards an absolute beginner, but is useful for anyone who wants detailed instructions for wet felting.

There is lots of useful information about the equipment or tools that are really useful for making a flat piece of felt easily. Plus some hints and tips that will make the layout and felting stages easier.

No ‘specialist’ equipment is necessary, and nothing expensive; I re-use and recycle where possible. Wool, water, soap, bubble-wrap and sheer fabric are my ‘essentials’, and items from around the house and the Pound shop (like dollar stores) are where pretty much everything else comes from.

The sections ‘Laying out a piece of flat felt’ and ‘The felting process’ have almost 60 colour photos and step by step instructions for laying out wool tops neatly and evenly; positioning embellishments; wetting, rubbing, rolling and fulling the felt; and how to get neat edges, so that even an absolute beginner should feel confident trying it for the first time.

There are a couple of extra sections at the end, with a few tips on blending colours and a section which explains how to work out the shrinkage rate from a sample piece of felt, and calculate measurements to account for shrinkage.

I hope you find this tutorial useful and enjoy reading through it :)
